New York’s cruise map is several terminals. Manhattan (the west-side passenger piers), Brooklyn, and Cape Liberty in Bayonne are different receiving problems. A listing that says “NYC cruise port” has not chosen one.
Terminal vs hotel vs ship
The terminal is screened. A Midtown florist who can find the West Side Highway has not shown a pier process. We do not list curb drops at the Manhattan terminal.
Hotels in Midtown, near the piers, and around Newark or LaGuardia are the passenger path when the guest is staying there. The hotel name has to match the guest’s actual night.
Ship delivery is a cruise line cabin program. Carnival Fun Shops covers Carnival at the Manhattan passenger piers, not Cape Liberty and not Brooklyn. Norwegian’s Gifts & More desk is documented for New York embarkations. HAL Ship Services is live for HAL New York sailings. Royal Gifts for Cape Liberty / Bayonne lives on Cape Liberty. Celebrity is not assumed to share that desk.
Cutoff realities
NCL’s US gift page states a five-day cutoff. Royal Gifts at Cape Liberty uses a four-business-day contiguous-U.S. exception — that listing is on the Cape Liberty page. We will not copy one number onto the other.
If the ship has already sailed
Manhattan hotels do not forward to a ship that has cleared the Narrows. Cape Liberty will not accept a late Manhattan order. Treat a missed sailing as a lost delivery unless the seller has a written hold-or-refund rule.
