Send flowers to a cruise cabin

Most orders that work are either a cruise-line cabin gift or a hotel drop the night before. Sending a wire service to “the cruise port” is how flowers miss the ship.

This page is a guide, not a shop. Cutoffs below come from official pages we opened, or they stay unpublished. Forum posts are quoted as reports and linked. They are not our verification.

What you usually need

Name, sail date, and ship. A booking or reservation number helps the line find the cabin. A travel agent can often place the order in the line’s personalizer. Iglu’s help page tells agents to use those personalizers rather than invent a pier drop.Iglu Cruise help.

Do not send FTD or 1-800-Flowers to the pier. We have not opened a national-wire page that names a receiving desk at a screened terminal. If the guest is in a hotel, use a listing that names that hotel.

Path A. Ship pre-order

Friends and family order through the line. Delivery is the cabin, not the curb. Each desk has its own clock. Do not copy one onto another.

Royal Gifts (Royal Caribbean)

Orders can go online, to (800) 722-5443, or through Housekeeping onboard. General gifts may be placed, changed, or canceled up to 24 hours before embarkation. Flower arrangements, and packages that contain flowers, must be bought no later than four business days before sail from contiguous U.S. ports. Flowers are delivered on embarkation day. Carnival Fun Shops

Carnival’s help article says flower orders can be purchased up to 11:59 p.m. ET, five business days before departure. Flowers are not offered from San Francisco, Jacksonville, Europe, or Australia. Embarkation-day delivery for pre-ordered flowers can run 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Early boarders may arrive before the vase. Source:The Fun Shops Gift Orders. We list named SKUs we opened that day, including Deluxe Mixed Flower Bouquet (product 703) at $89.95. A Pavlus Travel reprint of Carnival’s packing rules says flowers and plants are only permitted if ordered through Carnival, and cannot be taken off the ship at any port.Carnival Cruises FAQs, Pavlus Travel.

Cruise Critic threads on sending Fun Shops gifts to other cabins report booking-number lookup and at least one strawberries-and-champagne order that never showed.Can you send gifts to other cabins pre-cruise?andSurprising my cabin mate. Posters also say a Fun Shops order sometimes fails to appear in My Cruise. That is a report from those threads, not a status we can check from here.

Disney Onboard Gifts

Disney’s room-gifts FAQ says you can look up a reservation with a reservation number plus last name, or with sail date, name, and ship. Non-cake gifts have a three-day cutoff. Cakes have a seven-day cutoff. Source:How to purchase in-room gifts. The shop is reservation-gated:gifts and amenities.

P&O Cruises

Log into My P&O Cruises to order. The Welcome On Board package, which includes flowers, champagne, and chocolates, is bookable up to four days before departure. Cunard

Cunard publishes an onboard florist price list. Gifts ordered through that program are delivered to the suite on embarkation day. The same page says unusually high demand can push some flowers to the following day. Source:On board florist. Live listing:Southampton.

Holland America

HAL’s gifts FAQ names a bouquet in onboard gifts and points Ship Services to 1-800-541-1576. Sources:Onboard giftsandDo you offer gifts and indulgences?. Cruise Critic posters describe an onboard florist, prices in a roughly $15 to $75 range, next-day delivery, and a front-desk brochure that can be cheaper than the prebuy list.Florist onboardandOrdering flowers. Those prices are forum reports. We do not reprint them as current HAL SKUs.

Norwegian Gifts & More

The opened amenities page names flower SKUs and a one-week Europe rule. The same program also prints a five-day header for Flowers and Romance. We publish the stricter week on the listings. Princess

Princess documents a Send a Gift flow: On Board Our Ships, then Cruise Gifts and Services, then Surprise Someone.Cruise gifts and services. The opened page is a gifts hub. It does not publish a flower SKU and cutoff we could list.

OnFlowers on Princess Cruises, posters report that flowers sometimes disappear from the cruise personalizer depending on port, that guest services keeps a binder with a roughly $39 Princess arrangement, and that one guest carried a Publix bouquet on and used a drinking glass as a vase. That carry-on is one person’s report. We do not endorse it. Some lines ban bringing plants or flowers unless the line sold them.

Celebrity

Path B. Hotel drop the night before

This works when the guest is sleeping in a named hotel and the shop’s own page names that hotel and a cutoff. Examples:Florster in Barcelona,Sunny Florists in Boston,Fioridella in San Juan. The hotel name has to match the night. A city dump is not a hotel SOP.

If the ship has sailed, a hotel desk will not forward flowers onto the water. Treat a missed sailing as a lost delivery unless the seller has a written hold-or-refund rule.

Path C. Terminal or pier

We almost never see a florist page that names a receiving desk at a screened terminal. A van that can find the port road is not a process. Those claims stay unpublished.

What people report going wrong

• Embarkation-day delivery that runs late. Carnival’s own help page says Fun Shops flowers can arrive as late as 9:00 p.m. Cunard says high demand can slip to the next day.
• Fun Shops orders that do not show in My Cruise. Reported on Cruise Critic, not something this directory can refresh.
• Gifts that never arrive. One Carnival strawberries-and-champagne report is inthis thread.
• Princess personalizer missing flowers at some ports, perFlowers on Princess Cruises.

Carrying flowers on

One Princess guest reported walking a supermarket bouquet through and putting it in a glass. That is a single forum report, not advice we endorse. Carnival’s reprinted packing rule is the opposite: flowers and plants only if ordered through the line. Disney’s prohibited-items page, cited on our Disney listings, is the place to check for that brand. Ask the line you are actually sailing, in writing, before you pack stems.
